The Court of Appeal in Makkah Province has confirmed the appointment of lawyer Rabab Ahmed Al-Ma'bi, an approved arbitrator to settle a commercial dispute between two companies in Jeddah, the first precedent of its kind in Saudi Arabia.

Al-Ma'bi told Okaz that she is proud to be selected by a judiciary arbitration body that is considered to be Shari'a.

She added that she joined the list of arbitrators of the Saudi Center for Commercial Arbitration, which oversees the arbitration procedures in commercial and civil disputes as the first Saudi.

Rabab al-Ma'bi holds a Master's degree in Commercial Law and is a Goodwill Ambassador and Diplomatic Relations for the Peace and Diplomatic Mission of the International Council for Human Rights, Arbitration and Political and Strategic Studies since 2014.
