Saudi Interior Ministry: Determines Saudi Women 's Self - Portrait Controls

The Ministry of Interior's Civil Status Agency revealed the necessary conditions and controls when citizens put their photographs on their national identity cards.

The Civil Status Department of the Ministry explained that the controls are: to have a white background, to be without glasses or lenses, to be modern and colorful, to cover the hair of the head, and to allow light decoration.

The civil status has called on citizens to issue a national identity card, to facilitate all their dealings with government and private sectors, calling on them to preserve them, and not to pledge them as an official means of proof that protects them and preserves their rights, noting that they can obtain them through an electronic appointment to the nearest women's office.
